Agilizing the Enterprise Workshop

By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail. ~Benjamin Franklin

This course is taught in 8 – 1-hour sessions focused on designing the agile enterprise, value creation and creative problem solving. This course discusses the importance of agility and how it affects the solutions that are being delivered by an organization. We also discuss how a blend of strategic innovation, visionary leadership, managed resilience, and organizational agility go hand in hand to ensure the success of an organization.

Course Description

Agilizing the Enterprise focuses on the “big picture”. Whereas other courses typically present the view of a specific function (e.g., marketing, finance), this course presents a general management perspective. The method of the class is practical and problem oriented.

What you will learn:

Participants will develop a broad understanding of the importance and complexity of strategic decisions to build agile enterprise.

Solving customer problems effectively, building and agile enterprise, and design value requires students to identify, define and solve problems using logic, as well as lateral and creative thinking. In the process, students arrive at a deep understanding of the topic area and develop new knowledge and understanding on which they are able to make decisions. This approach is a route to innovation by challenging existing offerings and schemes, looking at whether they really meet a customer need or desire.
